The Number One Problem We Must Fix  --  Iraq

This is a subject I fully understand because I have lived in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Iran.  I have lived with Sunni's and Shiites.  I understand the religion, not only from reading about it, but from personal experience.  It is difficult for us Americans to understand the Middle East because we are stuck with this conceited belief system that everyone in the world thinks and reasons like we do. And when we meet someone that does not fit our definition of how everyone should think and reason, we ignore them rather than learn something from them.

We must realize that all religions are not the same and some religions will never agree to live together with other religions.  Some people (and nations) even advocate that they kill people who do not worship the way they worship.  This is something that is unthinkable among Christians, or Jews, or Hinduism, or Buddhist, or Shinto, or Catholics, or Orthodox, or Shkhism, or Jainism, or Zoroastrianism, or Taoism, or Confucianism, or Bahais.  So, when a religious person from this group meets another religious person who thinks that they should kill us if we do not join their religion, then we cannot believe what we are hearing, no matter how many ways they show us that it is true.  When someone tells you that they are going to kill you, you should listen to them, just ask any Jew who survived the holacost.

Just think about this.  Has any peace plan any President sent to the Middle East ever worked out as planned?  The answer is "NO" and they never will, no matter how many of our Tax Dollars we are willing to put into the agreement.  They just play us like the idiots we are; they take our money, and ignore the rest of the agreement.  When you see something happen time after time after time, you are supposed to learn something from it rather than keep butting your head against a wall.

I say our politicians are "idiots," but this may not be true; it could be that you and I are the only "idiots." A deeper look into some of these peace plans leave the appearance that they were put into place by some very intelligent people who were just shifting money around the way they wanted it to go.  If this is true, then our problems are even bigger than any of us ever imagined; we need to clean house from top to bottom.

So, how should the situation in Iraq been handled?  First, we must remember our number one objective.  This is and must always be to take care of America and the American People.  Second, we must, throw out this absurd idea the we are obligated to "take care of the world."

We did the right thing by going into the Iraqi war, based on the facts and the intelligence we had on hand at the time.  The facts are that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction and he used them several times on his own people, the Kurd's.  The intelligence was that he may be extending his actions to us.

Our mistake was that we did not recognize (or admit) when we had won the war and our reason for the invasion no longer existed.

The war was won and over when we dug Saddam Hussein out of that hole in the ground. The only job we had left was to set him free in a small Kurdish Village and bring the troops home.

At this point in time, the world had great respect for us and the Moslem countries were fearful of us, but by continuing to stay in the country and let them kill more and more of our soldiers, we have turned their fear and respect of us to jubilation.  We probably have a kill ratio of at least 50 to one, maybe a 100 to one, but they don't care; they have a billion people willing to join them.  If we really wanted to hurt them, we should stop financing them.  This would make it very difficult for them to recruit new people and supply them with weapons.  Just think of it this way; every time you gas up your car, you are putting an AK-47 into the hands of a terrorist, or at the very least, you are buying him ammunition.  If we are to survive, we must become Energy Independent, ASAP.

Unfortunately, our President did not recognize this and our Republican presidential candidate still does not recognize it. We are destroying ourselves financially and sacrificing the lives of our soldiers with no chance of realizing any permanent improvements in Iraq.

There will be a civil war no matter when we depart and the worst thing that can happen to America is for the group of Iraqis we are supporting to win this war.

If the group we are supporting is able to maintain control of the country, when we depart, we will leave an Iran-Iraq coalition that will work to over-throw Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the UAE; giving us a Shiite controlled Middle East. Both the Sunny' s and the Shiites want to kill us infidels, but the Shiite are supported by a major country who wants to use their governmental resources to kill us.

(May 15, 08 update - Iran has already started their move North by taking over control of much of Lebanon.  Iraq will be next, and since we are supporting Iran's allies, we are making it easy for them to take over the region.  But don't be concerned, our state department is going to have a talk with them.)

Mohammed gave his people 2 options to show that he was loving and benevolent to us infidels.

1. We can join the Moslem religion,

2. We can pay them a tax, or

3. If we refuse to pay the tax or join the Moslem religion, then they must kill us.

Another item in the Koran states that Moslems should  Go and live with our enemies, learn their weakness, and then we will conquer them."  Do the Moslem immigrants to the USA believe in the Koran?  Do Christians believe in the bible?

One of our problems is that we have, in our country, a bunch of "religious fanatics" especially the Baptist, who will never join the Moslem religion or pay them a tax, so they could cause us a lot of problems. -- Notice -- I can call the Baptist a bad name and they will not kill me, even though I am a Methodist.

One thing I learned when living overseas, was that there are some "major" differences between certain religions in different countries.  Most Middle East countries permit just one religion.

Our country has many religions, but all of them taught the same basic concepts until we brought in huge numbers of immigrants.  Was this good or bad for us?  Why does our "liberal left" continue to tell me that massive immigration is good for us?  I have spoken with several new legal immigrants and most all of them said they were told, as they went through the immigration process, that they must always vote "Democratic" because that other party would "send them back home."  Are we bringing in immigrants to increase the number of Democratic voters?

The only way the terrorist will ever be completely stopped is when (and if) the Moslem religion decides to stop it.  The terrorise consist of those who are committing terrorist acts and those who support them.  The terrorist are only doing what the Koran tells them to do.

When I was living in the Middle East, I was told many times by young children that someday, all Moslems would join and fight together and then they would "rule the world."  Who taught the kids this?  They did not learn it by accident.  It was obvious that this was the belief and the goal of the "general population."  It was not just the goal of a few terrorist.

We must also realize that all Moslem clerics always fight each other to see who will rule their country every time there is a change of leadership.  And any cleric is willing to "be our friend" and let us kill the fighters of the other clerics, even though they are fellow Moslems.  But once we kill their "local" enemies and go back home, then we become their enemies.  This is not a secret.  Every Moslem in the world is watching what we are doing in Iraq and laughing at us as well as cheering for their fellow Moslems.

Let's assume we have Baptist terrorist killing people because they are not Baptist.  How would the Baptist Church react?  I know how they would react.  The first time these terrorist showed to worship God on Sunday morning, at the local Baptist Church, they would be dead meat.  The other members of the church would call the police to arrest them after they got through beating the daylights out of them.  No Baptist is going to let a fellow Baptist kill a person in the name of the Baptist Church.

If the Baptist wanted to protect these terrorist, it would be extremely difficult for the police to track them down and bring them to justice.  As long as the Moslems encourage and support terrorism, it will not come to a stop.  We cannot let terrorist run over us, so we must continue to kill as many of them as possible because this saves American lives, but we must do it in an sane and economically acceptable manner.

We must realize that Moslem terrorism are not going to even slow down until we stop feeding our tax dollars into the people who are supporting their activities.  We are paying for the terrorist to kill us and we are paying for our military to stop the terrorist from killing us.  We are financially supporting both sides of this war. If we would quit financing the terrorist, it would be a huge handicap for them to overcome; and it would save the lives of thousands, maybe even millions, of Americans.

The money we have spent in Iraq is more that it would have taken us to become 100% energy independent and we continue to spend more; and our soldiers continue to die.  This is the biggest and most devastating and insane disaster our government has ever been involved in and our leaders still refuse to stop it.  No matter when we leave, there will still be a civil war.  The only good thing that could happen would be for the side we are supporting to lose this war.

Has any other Presidential Candidate told you the "hard truth" about this situation????  I am not the only person who knows this, you can find many others saying the same thing, but  none of them are running for President.
