This is a typical Economic Triangle. The bottom layer is the manufacturing workers, and the construction workers. They build things that are sold to generate the money that feeds the rest of the triangle. The salaries they earn and the profits from the products they build go up to the next layer. The next layer is the retail businesses that sell food, clothing, cars, and all the products we use every day, many of which are built by the guys below. The next layer is the managers, the scientist, engineers, doctors and other professionals that provide the management and technical capabilities required to generate the jobs for the workers below. The next layer is our Government that runs the country.
It is this combination that makes a country run and produce a decent lifestyle for all involved. This is the way our Economic Triangle looked 25 years ago. Unfortunately, it no longer looks this way. However, the Japanese, the South Koreans, India, China, and several other countries have an "Economic Triange" like this today. Our Economic Triangle looks like the one below.
We sent our manufacturing jobs overseas. We brought in tens of thousands of Illegal aliens who take a job and then send their money back home to Mexico or where ever they came from. We destroyed the base of our triangle. We no longer have the money to feed the economy and provide for our needs. So, now our government, who caused this problem, says they are going to fix it. Unfortunately, their "fix" is even worse than their decision to give away our manufacturing jobs. They gave us money that they borrowed from China and they called it an "economic stimulus." Since this did not do us any good, they now want to give us another "economic stimulus." Our government is also giving away 100's of billions of dollars to the very wealthy, the bankers, the corporate officers, and stock holders, because they are losing money in this poor economy. And we continue to give money and provide man-power to Iraq at the rate of about 9 billion dollars a month. We cannot afford to take care of Iraq or any other country for that manner; we have to take care of our own people. And we keep delaying drilling for our own oil which would make tens of thousands of new jobs. How stupid can our government be? No other country in the world is committing suicide the way we are. Prosperity does not come from giving away money; it comes from manufacturing something. And now they want to negotiate more "trade agreements" that will give away even more of our jobs. What is it going to take to stop this march down a path that will lead to the destruction of our country? We no longer have a "great government;" we have the worst government in the world. China loves what we are doing because it feeds them the money they need to build the army, the submarines, and the nuclear bombs that will conquer and destroy us --- and the rest of the world. They only have to defeat one country and they can rule the world. At the same time we are making China stronger, we are making ourselves weaker. How much time do we have left???
